Consolidating emails from different systems can be a challenge. Especially is Apple is involved. OSX 10.3′s mail application was storing all its mail in nice and convenient mbox files but they changed that to allow Spotlight’s indexer. So now all emails are stored as “emlx” – no common email application can import them but I found this very well written script.  It converts the mails back to mbox so you can import them into other email clients. Check it out!
